Happy Monday!

Another fun weekend in the books! I could totally go for another one though ... Monday always seems to happen so quickly.

This weekend we got through 5 episodes of House of Cards on Netflix, so fun to have it back for binge watching!! It's even more interesting to watch it during an election season because it makes me want to know what's really going on behind the scenes in Washington ... So corrupt at least from from the show's perspective!

Friday Grant took Lila on a special daddy / daughter day and she picked a trip to the Space Needle!!! Here they are on the observation deck. Cold and windy but she had so much fun!

Check out those city views! This is "classic Seattle" grey for sure ...

Saturday was sunny and even got into the 60s which was amazing ... and Sunday was pouring. Haha. We went for a walk along the lake and got caught in a MASSIVE downpour!! I do love this view though!

And Lila enjoyed a little bird watching (or staring at me close up) with her Aunt Vicki's binoculars ...

Saturday night Grant and I continued our at-home dinner dates with a "one pan" meal! I keep seeing these on Pinterest and have been wanting to try. I did a roasted lemon shallot king salmon, asparagus wrapped in prosciutto and balsamic Brussels sprouts - all roasted at 400 for 15ish minutes. So easy and delish!!!

I also added in a Caprese salad with spinach ...

Hope you had a great weekend!!

Xo
