Blackberry Cobbler

This is such a delicious and simple dessert. If you have fresh, frozen or even canned fruit on hand, you like already have everything else to make this cobbler (flour, milk, eggs, baking powder - so easy!). You basically just plop everything into a bowl, top with your fruit and throw in the oven. It's SO hands off and would be easy to prep in advance and put in the oven during dinner so it's hot and bubbly by the time you're ready for dessert.

We picked two cups of fresh blackberries in our neighborhood to make this and it turned out great! You don't have to use blackberries either - this would be great with any fruit really ... I can't wait to try with raspberries from our garden next, and I know peaches would be delicious too! I topped with vanilla bean ice cream while it was still warm from the oven and it was perfection.
